Bell holds off Gragson to win Xfinity

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Christopher Bell grabbed the lead out of a restart to begin the final stage and held off teammate Noah Gragson to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway on Friday night.

Bell led by nearly 0.6 seconds at one point during the final stage, then had Gragson close onto his rear bumper with about 10 laps to go. Stenhouse Jr. inks deals with 3 sponsors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Roush Fenway Racing has reached contract extensions with three of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s primary sponsors through 2021.

Fastenal will remain the anchor sponsor and has been with the team since it paired with Carl Edwards in 2010. Stenhouse was partnered with Fastenal in 2015. Fifth Third Bank was on Stenhouse's car last year when he won his first two Cup races, at Talladega and at Daytona in July. The third company, SunnyD, was Stenhouse's sponsor at Bristol, his first top-10 finish of the season. Read More...

Kyle Busch wins 2nd straight Cup race

Ford bringing Mustang to NASCAR in 2019

Ford is bringing its Mustang to NASCAR's top series for the first time.

The American automaker said Tuesday the Mustang will replace the Fusion in the Monster Energy Cup Series beginning next February at Daytona International Speedway. NASCAR team owner Roger Penkse slipped earlier this year, divulging that Ford would have a new body in 2019. Read More...
