Analysis: Morton has 20 strikeouts over 13 innings in his last two starts. He's not always going to be effective over the full course of a start, but when he's on, his breaking ball can be dominant.

Analysis: It was Morton's longest outing of the season and the most strikeouts of his career. He improved to 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA at home, compared to 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA on the road. Morton next pitches Wednesday at home against the Rangers.

Analysis: Morton (1-1) worked in and out of trouble over five innings, allowing five hits and two walks with three strikeouts. He had runners on in every inning, including stranding the bases loaded in the second when he got Ben Revere to fly out. Morton has allowed three runs or fewer in each of his three starts this season.
